Do I need a Google Business Profile (Google My Business) listing?
Yes — your Google Business Profile is required to receive reviews. If you don’t have one yet, we can help you set it up so you can start collecting reviews the right way.
Do customers need a Google account to leave a review?
Yes. Google requires customers to be signed in to leave a review (it helps reduce spam and fake reviews). Most customers already have a Google account on their phone.
Are Tap Cards compatible with all smartphones?
They work on iPhone and Android. Most modern phones support NFC tap — and every smartphone can scan the QR code, so customers always have a way to open your review screen.
How does the “tap” technology work?
Tap Cards use NFC (Near Field Communication) — the same type of technology used for contactless payments. The chip only shares a link (your Google review link). It does not store or transmit anything else.
Does the Tap Card replace Google, or does it still go to Google?
